Opcon is an energy and environmental technology group that develops, produces and markets systems and products for ecofriendly, efficient and low-resource energy usage. Opcon is market leader in a number of its business areas.

Opcon’s business shall help reduce negative environmental effects in the areas in which its companies’ products and systems are used.

Opcon has operations in Sweden, China, Gemany and United Kingdom, with around 410 employees in total. The registered office of the Opcon Group is in Stockholm with administration mainly in Åmål, Sweden. The Opcon share is listed on the Small Cap list of the Nasdaq OMX Stockholm.

The Opcon Group consists of parent company Opcon AB and seven subsidiaries and is organised in two business areas.

Renewable Energy business area

• Svenska Rotor Maskiner AB (SRM) is the Group’s Center of Excellence for screw compressor technology. SRM develops and produces compressors for other Opcon companies and works with handling systems for natural gas, filter systems for personal protection against nuclear, biological and chemical waste, oil-free compressed air systems and industrial cooling technology. Via the brand Opcon Autorotor SRM also works with air systems for fuel cells. SRM has operations in Stockholm, Norrköping and Hagfors.

• Opcon Energy Systems AB (OES) works with Waste Heat Recovery through production of electricity from surplus heat with Opcon Powerbox, within industry and CHP plants, and onboard vessels. OES is based in Stockholm.

• Opcon Bioenergy AB (OBE) works with Waste Heat Recovery through flue gas condensation, dust separation, drying processes, bioenergy plants and industrial handling systems for biofuel, sludge, et cetera. OBE has operations in Stockholm.

• Saxlund International GmbH works with Waste Heat Recovery through bioenergy plants and handling systems for biofuel, sludge, et cetera, and is based in Soltau, Germany.

• Saxlund International Ltd. works with Waste Heat Recovery through bioenergy plants, and is based in Southhampton, UK.

Engine Efficiency business area

• SEM AB develops and produces solenoids, ignition systems for combustion engines including ethanol, natural gas and biogas engines, and injector stators for diesel engines. Via the market brand Laminova SEM works with heat exchangers for combustion engines. SEM is based in Åmål, Sweden.

• OTS, Opcon Technology Suzhou Co., Ltd., works with the production of small ignition systems and solenoids. Opcon Tech is based in Suzhou, China.
